To ensure convenience and ease for farmers when bringing agricultural produce—such as fruits and vegetables—to the market for sale, and to facilitate the proper handling of such produce, it is essential to provide farmers with plastic crates. Accordingly, the Market Committee procures plastic crates and distributes them to the farmers. A subsidy of ₹50 per crate is being provided by the Market Committee.
